Mobipocket Launches New Offer

According to Mobipocket, the company has launched a new offer to enable Publishers, eBooksellers and Distributors to produce, distribute and sell eBooks in the Mobipocket PDA Reader format.

The interesting angle for Mobipocket is that by using its software an ePublisher can create secure, OEB-compliant ebooks that will work on all commonly used handhleds, including PalmOS, Windows CE/PocketPC, Psion, Epoc R5 and R6, Franklin eBookman devices. As well, the Mobipocket Publisher includes the ability to produce LIT format ebooks for Microsoft Reader and can be used on Windows 95/98/NT/2000 PCs.
