Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) standard for delivering and presenting graphic and image data on the Internet. SVG images can be interactive, and they offer accurate, clear detail, no matter how much you zoom or rescale. SVG is fast becoming the industry standard for vector graphics.

CSIRO have developed software for Windows CE platforms to view image and vector data conforming to the SVG standard. Initially, this was done for desktop and laptop PCs. Now it is available for a range of pocket-sized computing devices such at Pocket and Handheld PCs.
