FlipBrowser is an electronic book (e-book) viewer and a web browser. FlipBrowser incorporates E-Book Systems' patented Digital Flip technology to display regular web pages formatted in HTML and Open Electronic Book (OEB) format.

E-Book Systems has extended the OEB format to make it a streaming format allowing users to view the first pages of an electronic book even before it fully downloads. This streaming format is suitable for use in an online product catalog or multi-page brochure.

FlipBrowser can browse contents on the web in the following manner:

• 1. Regular web pages and automatically compile it as an electronic book. It remembers every page giving you quick access to your previously viewed web pages.
• 2. Pre-authored electronic books, product catalogs, photo albums or presentations stored on the web. The contents are organized as a book with cover page, overview, start page and end page. Contents are streamed to the user.
