With HPW-630ETR, Hitachi expands its ePlate H/PC line by introducing the HPW-630ETR. With its rugged anti-shock design and transflective DSTN color LCD touchscreen display, the HPW-630ETR is an ideal mobile computing solution for indoor/outdoor conditions.

The ePlate's (HPW-630ETR) new rugged casing (non-slip rubber handgrip) can even handle bumps and shocks. Even a four feet drop onto concrete (not recommended) can't stop the ePlate from working. Its 8.2" VGA transflective touch LCD color screen display offers images that can be seen under bright sunlight conditions but it also has a built-in backlight that can be viewed for indoor purposes. Its other environmental features include, water-droplet-resistant casing protected by an anti-microbial coating. Powered by the Hitachi SuperHTM SH-4 RISC processor with added graphics accelerator that assures high-speed performance while maximizing the battery life (up to 9 hours). Comes standard with 32MB of RAM, 56K modem, USB Port, Serial Port, PC Type II card slot, CompactFlash slot, VGA monitor, IRDA port, microphone, speaker, headphone jack, cradle connector & Windows CE® version 2.12.
