The AlphaBook™ is a portable electronic device with a revolutionary high contrast display that allows users to read books in electronic format. Besides being able to transport and access multiple books at a time, users can also view electronic content in multiple formats including html and pdf files.
The AlphaBook is user-friendly and its unique features enhance the book reading experience:
- Easy navigation lets users read a book page by page or skip directly to a particular chapter or section.
- Unlimited storage is provided by the AlphaBook’s replaceable cartridge system that allows users to store from 10 to 50 books on each cartridge. The AlphaBook can holds up to two cartridges at one time, which enables the user to cress reference up to 30 textbooks.
- Highlighting and annotation is easy using the included stylus with which the user can select and highlight text, write small margin notes, and draft lengthier notes using the electronic notebook feature.
- Split-screen capabilities permit users to view one full page of text on the screen split it to view two half-pages from the same book, from two different books, or from one book and a notes file.
- Advanced search functions allow users to find key words or phrases in a single book or across their entire library. Users can also bookmark cross-reference selected sections of text to their notes or another book.
- Convenient accessories are included with the AlphaBook such as: an electronic calendar, contact list, full function scientific and business calculator, and basic references.
