ClearType Control Panel (CP) is a small, free utility that performs one purpose: it turns ClearType On or Off globally in any application that uses the HTML window, such as Pocket Internet Explorer. It is designed to work with Pocket PCs.

The screenshots below show the difference when it is turned on on off when using Internet Explorer on a Pocket PC (Jornada 548). With a colored background the sub-pixel font rendering does not look quite so nice, but with the background it becomes easier to read.
