An XML Reader, which allows general specifications of OeBF, provides users an interface similar to paper books. Features of Echyon Reader include imbedded multimedia, reading only mode, annotations, hyperlinks, highlighting, searching and more.

Through effective file compression of the encoded data, it enables much smaller size of eBook files. The program also supports multimedia files (video, flash and sound) and background images. The user interface of Echyon Reader is compatible between PC and dedicated reading device developed by Echyon. In addition, Echyon Reader has a resizing function so that customers can adjust the screen size as they wish.
