iPublish.com Invites Readers to Submit New Chapters in New Romance eBook

New York, NY, July 24, 2001 - Reflecting its commitment to using the digital medium to unite writers with readers in exciting new ways, iPublish.com at Time Warner Books today unveiled THE WEDDING DRESS, a free original eBook that invites readers to write new chapters in the life of an heirloom wedding dress.

Written by critically acclaimed author and screenwriter Nicole Conn (Angel's Wings, Passion's Shadow; Simon & Schuster), THE WEDDING DRESS tells the story of Madeline, a woman whose cynical perspective of marriage, love, and life is altered as she traces the history of a wedding dress and all the lives it touches.

In an interactive twist, Conn invites readers and members of iWrite, iPublish.com's recently launched online writers community, to write the tales of other women who have worn the dress through history beginning today. iPublish.com will take the best of those submissions and publish them as part of a multi-author electronic anthology that will lead readers full circle back to Madeline's story. The deadline for submissions is October 15, 2001. You can find the submission guidelines at:

"One of the most exciting things about electronic publishing is that it gives us the ability to experiment with new formats and offer users new reading experiences," said Claire Zion, editorial director, iPublish.com. "THE WEDDING DRESS is an excellent example of how iPublish.com is setting the standard for eBooks by taking full advantage of the digital medium."

THE WEDDING DRESS will be available at leading eBook retailers, including Barnesandnoble.com, Amazon.com, and iPublish.com's online bookstore, iRead.
