Palm Passes on the Word on eBooks

The Palm Digital Media Team has just notified Planet eBook of a new promotional effort to encourage more Palm users to buy and read eBooks. The "Pass the Word" message going out to existing Palm Digital Media account holders gives members a credit of $10 in return for getting friends to buy $25 of eBook content from Palm Digital Media.

Palm recently announced sales of more than 180,000 eBooks over 2001. The books, on sale from the Palm site, are formatted for use with the company's Palm Reader software, which runs on PalmOS and Pocket PC devices.
