MobiPocket has announced the release of its latest MobiPocket Reader for PC and that the company's software now lets users read eBooks on two devices. The first version of the MobiPocket Reader for PC was released in April. The release for PCs adds to the already long list of computers on which the reader software runs, including PalmOS, WinCE, Pocket PC, Franklin eBookman and Symbian OS devices.
The MobiPocket Reader for PCs is a reader with a look and feel much like Microsoft Reader. The reader displays the eBook within a relatively plain window with the option to resize fonts, annontate, copy and so forth. The reader also comes with a ClearType option to improve readability.
One of the interesting differences between the viewer and Microsoft's is that the window is actually resizable, meaning the reader can widen or narrow the page as well as lengthen it to suit their needs.

Additional options for customizing include font type and size, text and background color, full justification and display margins. See screenshot for all options.
